Report – Void Report

 Navigation: Report menu(1) > Cashier report (2) > Void report (3) 

  1. Filter Section
  • Search by: Allows the user to search for voided transactions by Voided time or Transaction date.
    • If the user selects Voided time, the report will display all transactions voided within the From-To time range.
    • If the user selects Transaction date, the report will display all transactions audited within the From-To time range.
  • From: Default is the current date.
  • To: Default is the current date.
  • Transaction type: Click to select the transaction type corresponding to the voided transaction within the time range the user wants to filter.
  • Created clerk: Click to select the employee who performed the void transaction within the time range the user wants to filter.
  • Room/Table: Displays the room number or table (fnb) with voided transactions within the time range the user wants to filter.
  1. Data grid
  • From: Start date of the time range selected by the user to filter the report.
  • To: End date of the time range selected by the user to filter the report.
  • Reservation Code: Displays the booking code that was voided within the filtered time range.
    • The value in this column will be hyperlinked. After the user clicks on it, they will be directed to the transaction page V in the Room Detail > Folio tab.
    • For transactions voided related to FnB pay at the table, the value in this column will be null.
    • For transactions voided related to Housekeeping service/revenue in the Room Detail > Folio tab/payment in the Room Detail > Transaction tab, the value in this column will display the corresponding reservation code.
  • Invoice No: Voided invoice code within the filtered time range.
    • If the voided transaction is related to FnB pay at the table, this column’s data is the check number.
    • If the voided transaction is related to room revenue (including housekeeping service, excluding FnB post to room, payment), this column will display the invoice number.
  • Room no: Displays the room corresponding to the Reservation code.
    • If the voided transaction is FnB pay at the table, this column shows the table name.
    • If the voided transaction is a service posted to the room (excluding FnB post to room), this column takes the room number corresponding to the Reservation code.
  • Reference: Displays the reference ID of the original transaction (Ref only displays for booking transactions).
    • If the voided transaction is related to FnB pay at the table, this column is blank.
    • If the voided transaction is related to room revenue (including housekeeping service, excluding FnB post to room), this column will display the id of revenue.
    • If the voided transaction is related to room payment, this column will display the value taken from the payment id (visible in Room Detail > Transaction tab).
  • Transaction Date: The audit date of that transaction.
  • Transaction Code: Displays the transaction code assigned to that voided transaction. It will be the same with the original transaction.
  • Description: Describes the name of transaction code.
  • Guest Name: The guest’s name corresponding to the transaction.
  • Amount: The amount of the transaction. Takes the amount corresponding to the transaction/payment.
  • Created Clerk: Displays the employee’s name.
    • For the voided transaction/payment line, displays the name of the employee who created the transaction/payment.
    • For the line generated to void the transaction/payment, displays the name of the employee who voided the transaction/payment.
  • Created Time: Displays the creation time of the transaction.
  • Voided Time: Displays the time (date and time) the transaction was voided.
  • Notice: Notes on the voided transaction/reason for voiding the transaction.
