[Update] FnB – Add some fields in the “Update information” popup, Create the Customer Visits, Revenue & Source by Customer report, and Create the guest birthday notification feature


Aim: user would like to update more fields in Customer information pop up when opening the table at FnB area and a report to track it so that FnB department can manage and take care customer better. 

  1. Update customer information 

When user open a table at hall plan in FnB area, an Update information pop up will appear to user can fulfill guest’s essential information:

The update information pop up has 2 sections:

Section 1: Update information pop up includes:

  • Number of guests (1): Default is 1, user can input number of guest less than or equal to number of seats on that table 
  • Order taker (2): 
  • Room number (3): If guest is staying in hotel, select room number in droplets 

Section 2:

Customer name (4): there are 3 places to configure customer name

Place 1: Click “+” to create a customer profile 

then show pop up:

Place 2: Create customer information in Reservation 

Place 3: Create customer information in CRM > Customer 

Source (5): Which kind of sources are configured for FnB and checked the checkbox of outlet at CRM > Source will show in droplist in pop up

Purpose (6): Select the purpose item  in droplits that configured fixedly:

  • Dinner
  • Birthday
  • Anniversary
  • Family Dinner
  • Romantic Dinner
  • Corporate Event
  • Proposal
  • Other

Request: input customer’s request

Referral code: input referral request

Remarks: FnB staff can take note for any necessary information from guest (and this one will be recorded in  FnB customer report)

Note: as same as Remarks but not recorded in FnB customer report. 

2. Adjust the update information 

2.1 Table is opening 

Click pencil icon to show pop up and adjust information if necessary 


2.2 Bill is paid 


At bill list tab, select outlet > click the hyperlink > undo paid > confirm “Yes”:

3. Notification feature: send notifications to FnB staff when there is customer’s birthday prior to 14 days from customer’s birthday 

Navigation: CRM > customer > edit customer > select customer’s birthday:

4. FnB customer report

Navigation: Report > FnB Group > FnB customer report:

Describe components:

(* ) Search by: Posted date / Transaction date

(* *) Total arrivals: each customer profile will have separate transaction. At first transaction, if no customer name is provided in Update information pop up, it will be under a group.

(***) Check num: only final bill will be showed hyperlink check num at this column

(****) Status: Each action at FnB area is proceeding, this makes the data in report changed accordingly 

In Use: Open table and not yet paid

Deleted: Open table and deleted order to exit table

Paid: From In use (Open table and not yet paid) to Pay.
