[NEW] CONFIGURATION – Add the “Feedback link” section and the feedback email flow

Aim: Hotel would like to configure a feedback form link and attach on email in order to send to guest immediately when booking is checked out.

  1. Configuration

Navigation: Config > Hotel/ Apartment > Feedback email configuration section

Sending feedback email toggle: Default is Off. If toggle is On:

  • Feedback link: must not Null, max character strings is 2048, scheme: https/ http, Valid URL: (scheme://host[:port][path][?query][#fragment]),
  • Apply for bookings from: PMS, Booking Engine ( NO applying for OTA bookings)

2. Feedback link Process.

2.1 Booking from BE

Normally, the feedback mail will be sent to the initial email that guest received the confirm mail when booking on BE website:

If there is a change for guest’s email at Customer information section in Detail booking:

Result: feedback email will be sent the guest’s changed email:

2.2 Booking from PMS

If Fo staff input guest’s mail in the Email field at Customer information section in Detail booking:

When booking is checked out, the feedback mail will be sent to that guest’mail:

2.3 Complete guest’s feedback

After booking is changed Re status to Check out, guest will received an email from hotel immediately, there is a link is attached inside, guest click “share your feedback” to direct the Feedback form page:
