[UPDATE] BOOKING – Add “Walk in” checkbox on the Create/ Detail reservation/ Reservation list

In the room reservation management process, the hotel needs to clearly distinguish between bookings made in advance via OTA, website, agency, and Walk-in (guests who arrive directly at the hotel without prior booking).

The “Walk-in” checkbox when creating or editing a booking helps to:

  • Identify bookings created by walk-in guests
  • Support reporting and analysis of walk-in rates

Users check the Walk-in option when creating a booking so the system can accurately record and classify the booking.

Users can enable or disable the Walk-in status when editing a booking to ensure report data is always up to date and accurate.

Users cannot modify the Walk-in status for bookings that are already in Checkout / Cancelled / No-show status.
