Check booking no show

1. Layout 

• On click, display the “Check booking no show” modal as below: 
• Step 1: Click “night audit” button, if the check incon is checked in Erroe column
• Step 2: Click “Check booking no show” that is colored pink 

• Information includes
  • Reservation Code: on click, direct to Room Detail of the booking
  • Group: Group booking code. If this is child booking, it will have group booking code
  • Full name: Main guest name
  • Arrival time: Expected arrival time
  • Balance: Balance of the booking
  • Action: Noshow and Cancel icons

2. How to cancel booking in Night Audit

When a booking has a transaction, the Cancel icon will be grayed out, preventing the cancel booking action. Conversely, the Cancel icon will be enabled and allow cancellation when there is no transaction.

On click, displays the Confirm to cancel reservation pop-up for users to enter a cancellation reason and confirm the cancellation. The booking will be removed from the Check booking no show list and the reason displayed in the Reservation Cancellation/No show report.

3. How to noshow booking in Night Audit

On clicking No show icon, displays the Post Cancellation/No show charge pop-up for users to handle room charges and change the booking type to No show.

• In How to charge, selecting “No Charge” option will set the booking to No show without applying a cancellation/No show charge transaction, saving the cancellation reason for reporting.

• In How to charge, selecting “Charge Room Fee” option 
  • Can enter the charge amount, defaulting the Number of nights dropdown to 1.
  • Only charge for the first night with the entered amount.
  • Can select the number of nights to charge for the No show fee, limited by the stay duration.
  • When selecting the number of nights, the no show charges will be generated for each of those nights, with the amount equal to the room rate for each respective night.

• If the user wants to charge each night with a specific amount, they can select “No charge” and then manually post the no show charges for each night.
